My dream...My future!

Change: It starts with me!

Change is everywhere. And it comes unexpectedly, no one knows when it comes and some don't even notice it.

Time is running, days are passing by and we are simply growing each day. From an infant, I'm now a teenager. Many things have change, whether it is physical, emotional, spiritual, etc. And as time goes by, I'm easily influenced by the people in my surroundings. Some are good and yeah...some are bad, but its okay because my life wouldn't be complete without them. But i also need to change my bad attitudes to be a better person. And someday I hope I'll be successful, and to be successful I need to reach my dreams and goals...and by doing that, I need to change and improve myself. That's why, change must start with me!

Kannawidan Festival

After the Vigan City Fiesta and the Longganisa Festival comes another Festival which is much awaited by the people...And yes, I'm refering to the Kannawidan Festival.

Foreign and local tourists came just to witness different shows, pageants, contests and programs prepared by the local government.. And I know they are also impressed by that. Some known artist also came for their shows and to entertain the biguenos. They also launched a trade fair for the Kannawidan Festival where different native products are displayed and sold in public. Different products of different localities and municipalities can be seen in this trade fair.

well, I enjoyed going to that trade fair because of the unique and native products. That's all.

January 25-Vigan City Fiesta

The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of the City's patron saint,St. Paul the Apostle.

The Vigan City Fiesta usually lasts for several days. And many activities are being held. Many visitors from different places even come just to witness and enjoy the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as the carnival which i think is the most visited place because it is full of fun activities and cool rides. And I know that kids and people on any age love this place.

Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the Longganisa Festival is also celebrated.
Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition. And my friends also joined the competition and yeah! they rock! they're cool and good. Their steps are nice and complicated and we were there to cheer them up even though they are so exhausted but unfortunately they didn't win, they're so good. I mean, REALLY GOOD. It's just that better participants are there to compete with them. But It's okay, coz for me they are the BEST! :)))

On the 25th of January, I know many kids are excited to watch the Grand Parade because of the candies and other good stuffs and the mascots too. And I admit that when I was a kid i love to watch this Grand Parade and catch some candies too but now, I can't watch anymore because I'm one of the CAT officers who'll march along the road and to be watched by the people. Gosh!!! This day is so memorable even though it's very tiring. I enjoyed it a lot.
