My dream...My future!

Change: It starts with me!

Change is everywhere. And it comes unexpectedly, no one knows when it comes and some don't even notice it.

Time is running, days are passing by and we are simply growing each day. From an infant, I'm now a teenager. Many things have change, whether it is physical, emotional, spiritual, etc. And as time goes by, I'm easily influenced by the people in my surroundings. Some are good and yeah...some are bad, but its okay because my life wouldn't be complete without them. But i also need to change my bad attitudes to be a better person. And someday I hope I'll be successful, and to be successful I need to reach my dreams and goals...and by doing that, I need to change and improve myself. That's why, change must start with me!

Kannawidan Festival

After the Vigan City Fiesta and the Longganisa Festival comes another Festival which is much awaited by the people...And yes, I'm refering to the Kannawidan Festival.

Foreign and local tourists came just to witness different shows, pageants, contests and programs prepared by the local government.. And I know they are also impressed by that. Some known artist also came for their shows and to entertain the biguenos. They also launched a trade fair for the Kannawidan Festival where different native products are displayed and sold in public. Different products of different localities and municipalities can be seen in this trade fair.

well, I enjoyed going to that trade fair because of the unique and native products. That's all.

January 25-Vigan City Fiesta

The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25. It is celebrated during the feast day of the conversion of the City's patron saint,St. Paul the Apostle.

The Vigan City Fiesta usually lasts for several days. And many activities are being held. Many visitors from different places even come just to witness and enjoy the cultural shows, parades and street dancing prepared by the local government with the help of the local industries and communities. There are also food fairs, arts and crafts exhibits, as well as the carnival which i think is the most visited place because it is full of fun activities and cool rides. And I know that kids and people on any age love this place.

Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the Longganisa Festival is also celebrated.
Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competition. And my friends also joined the competition and yeah! they rock! they're cool and good. Their steps are nice and complicated and we were there to cheer them up even though they are so exhausted but unfortunately they didn't win, they're so good. I mean, REALLY GOOD. It's just that better participants are there to compete with them. But It's okay, coz for me they are the BEST! :)))

On the 25th of January, I know many kids are excited to watch the Grand Parade because of the candies and other good stuffs and the mascots too. And I admit that when I was a kid i love to watch this Grand Parade and catch some candies too but now, I can't watch anymore because I'm one of the CAT officers who'll march along the road and to be watched by the people. Gosh!!! This day is so memorable even though it's very tiring. I enjoyed it a lot.

Reflection!

As time passed by, i didn't noticed that our Third Grading Period is almost over, after the periodical test, this grading will come to an end. We have finished 3, and 1 more to go. But before moving on to the last grading, let me reminisce first the things i learned in ICT IV.
This grading, I learned a lot such as the HTML links and how to make a web design using the Microsoft Frontpage. And our project is to do something like that. It's a challenge for me because I need patience in doing it. I encountered some problems in doing this, one is our internet connection, sometimes it's not available and it's veeerrrry slow. Another is, I'm not a good web designer so I need to explore and discover. But honestly, I enjoyed making one even though it's not quite good but at least I finished something.
Moving on, I will be more diligent in posting activities that I need to post because sometimes I'm lazy. And I'll study hard. More learnings, discoveries, experiences, challenges and excitement, those are what I'm expecting for the last grading.

2011, will something change?

Goodbye 2010 and Welcome 2011!

Time flies so fast, and it was like just yesterday if we start reminiscing the memories and happy moments that happened in the year 2010. It was an extraordinary year, i must admit that but now, it came to an end. And I should continue my life and face the new year, the year of the metal rabbit because I don't wanna be trap in the past, I should move on and continue my life with a new hope.

Every new year, most of us set a list of "new year's resolutions". These are the things we want to change or improve for the coming year whether it's a change on our habits, characteristics, or other things. It also became a tradition specially to Filipinos like me.

Now if you're wondering about my own list, i didn't made one this year because I know I can't do some of it or maybe almost all of them! And I don't want it to be broken. But that's not the case, even though i didn't made a list, I'm still looking forward for changes, and I'm trying to put that on action. I wanna change my bad habits specially sleeping very very late, I want to lessen the time I sit in front of the computer and also watching television. I want to use my time wisely, improve my grades, and be a good or better person for others specially to my friends. And also to increase my height. oh boy! I'm the smallest student in the class. These are the things that I want to change and I hope some of them will really change and be better someday.

Christmas!

One of the holidays days that we are waiting for is Christmas. When the BER-months come, we experience the cool breeze, and different shops are starting to sell Christmas stuffs. Christmas trees, Christmas lights, Christmas lanterns, gifts, foods and fruits, without these things Christmas wouldn't be complete. But wait, don't forget the true meaning of Christmas,...December 25, the day when Mother Marry gave birth to our Savior Jesus Christ. This is why Christmas is so significant and we must not forget this. We celebrate this day with smiles and joy that really came from the deepest part of our heart to thank our Savior.

Christmas is not only about the gifts we receive, foods we eat, and the different Christmas stuffs that we see every day when this season comes. The true essence of Christmas is about giving, sharing, and loving. Love, peace and serenity should conquer us. It's also the time to forget all the bad things that happened to us and to forgive the ones who caused us the pain and misery. We should fill our hearts with love and happiness. Share our lives with others and live our life to the fullest.
